Inter - Chievo 4-3. Dupa ce conduceau cu 4-0. Eu am impresia ca ei nu stiu sa joace cind au meciul in mina. Ceva trebuie de facut. Cum poti sa scapi 3 goluri de la Chievo in 10 min?

MILAN - "The team played well, we did well for 74 minutes. Then we started playing around and we shouldn't do this," said Roberto Mancini following Inter's 4-3 home win over Chievo. "We should always look to get another goal without allowing the opposing team to gain heart, even if we were 4-0 up. We should have been a bit more careful, though today I perhaps caused a bit of confusion with all the substitutions. The boys did what they had to do, perhaps I should also be more careful."

Mancini continued: "I'm sorry for the defence. We shouldn't have conceded a single goal, and we probably wouldn't have if we had been 1-0 up. We were doing very well and should have continued to do so. The substitutions? It's impossible not to change with all these matches every three days."

Asked about the individual performances of Inter's players against Chievo, Mancini replied: " Figo did well in that role. Playing there allows him to run a bit less and with his class he can be very useful to the team. Adriano? He did well and could even have scored a couple of goals. But the important thing is that he played well and gave some positive signs, but it will be a bit longer before we see the best Adriano. Stankovic? He scored a great goal, he should have been a bit more careful and not have got booked. He is a very important player for us."

MILAN - Santiago Solari made his first start of the season in Inter's 4-3 victory over Chievo, filling the left-wing role in a 4-3-1-2 formation. "I played well? Thank you. I always try to make sure I'm ready to play when the coach needs me," the Argentine told Inter Channel. "I have been feeling good since the second half of last season and I'm ready to make my contribution when asked to play.

"We have to be careful, we are our own and only enemy. What happened today cannot and must not happen. A physical lapse towards the end of a match is normal, but not one like today's. We don't have enemies if we play like we did in the first 75 minutes, but it's no good if we play like we did in the last fifteen. But we should be pleased because we played a great match for three-quarters of the game."

MILAN - "At a certain point we stopped and this must not happen," admitted Fabio Grosso after Inter conceded three goals against Chievo after leading the match 4-0. "We almost jeopardized a game we had played very well and which we deserved to be winning 4-0. This is a lesson for us to learn, we will try not to do the same in the future."

The Italy wing-back added: "We played a great game. It's a shame about the last ten minutes when we risked ruining everything. On a personal level I feel fine and we are all gradually finding our form.
