Total NonStop Action Wrestling (TNA) is a privately controlled integrated-media and sports entertainment company that deals primarily in professional wrestling. It uses television, the Internet, and live events, with additional major revenue sources from product licensing and direct product sales. Dixie Carter is the president of the company and co-founder Jeff Jarrett is the Vice President. In 2002, Panda Energy International purchased the majority of its shares.
The company has its headquarters in Orlando, Florida; its trading company TNA Entertainment, LLC operates out of Nashville, Tennessee. The company previously bore the name "NWA Total Nonstop Action" — at the time of it's formation it belonged to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). TNA was granted exclusive rights to both the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Tag Team Championship. TNA withdrew from the NWA in 2004, but was permitted to continue to use the championships until the NWA abrogated the agreement in May 2007.
TNA became the first American promotion to make exclusive use of a hexagonal wrestling-ring (as opposed to the more conventional four-sided ring).The organization also employed the unconventional rule that a championship can change hands as the result of a disqualification or countout, but has slowly phased out this rule. TNA's business focus is on professional wrestling. It is currently the second largest professional wrestling promotion in the world, behind World Wrestling Entertainment.

Matt Hardy Scheduled For September Court Date
Matt Hardy is scheduled for a September 28th court date in Moore County, North Carolina to respond to charges of Driving While Impaired and Exceeding Safe Speed while driving.

The charges come after his car cash over the weekend that led to his release from Impact Wrestling.

Hardy has also been commenting on his arrest on his YouTube channel, claiming there is more to the story.

Matt Hardy Finally Comments On DWI Arrest
Matt Hardy, who was arrested Saturday in North Carolina for driving while intoxicated, says he is innocent. Surprised?!?

In response to fans who were discussing his arrest, Hardy wrote on his YouTube channel, "I took a breathalyzer immediately on the spot and it read clean, zero, nothing. Think about peeps! There's more to this story than meets the eye. MATTHEW"

Hardy posted another, longer response regarding the matter, but immediately deleted it.

Hardy's contract with TNA Wrestling was subsequently terminated following his arrest. He hinted on YouTube that a return to WWE could be in the cards.

In response to a remark that he should return to WWE, Hardy wrote, "You are exactly right my lovely. It's time for the original Matt Hardy to appear once again!"

Matt Hardy Rushed To Hospital
Matt Hardy was rushed to the emergency room of a North Carolina hospital earlier today after suffering a fall in his home, according to TMZ.

The cause of the fall and the extent of Hardy's injuries are currently not known, but it is being reported that Hardy will be released from the hospital tomorrow.

They announced that The Network had given Jeff Hardy the chance to speak his mind. Hardy came out and said that he let everyone down, both the fans and everyone in the back. He asked everyone to give him one more shot to prove himself, even if they cannot forgive him for what he's done.

-- Aleta Ennis, who handled marketing and publicity for the company in the Orlando area, is no longer with the company.

-- As noted earlier this morning here on the website, Cookie (Becky Bayless) is gone from TNA. The promotion decided not to renew her contract. She debuted in August of 2010 as the manager of Robbie E. Also, she posted the following tweets this morning: Thanks for all the support! No worries, I'll be making my PPV return for @WSUWrestling Nov 19! And they actually let me wrestle there!:P
