Eu personal demult asteptat reintoarcerea Hot Pursuit-ului deoarece asta a fost joaca mea preferata din toata seria...anume Hot Pursuit 2 m-a prins, ci nu MW sau Carbon...

Ce este AntiPiracy 2.5?
AntiPiracy 2.5 (in continuare AP2.5) - combinatie a mai multor sisteme de protectie pentru autentificarea discurilor cu jocuri pentru XBOX360. Persista pe mediile XBOX360 practic de la lansarea consolei, dar a fost activata de catre producator (Microsoft) doar de curind, o data cu lansarea ultimului dashboard, compatibil cu senzorul Kinect - 2.0.12611 la 01.11.2010.

Cum afecteaza?
La momentul actual, copia jocului cu sistem de protectie AP2.5, nu va putea trece autentificarea si ca rezultat - nu va putea fi lansata.
Dupa incercarea lansarii unei copii a jocului cu sistem AP2.5 - va fi modificata valoarea XVal (aflata in memoria interna flash a consolei), care eventual va putea duce la banarea consolei in sistemul XBOX Live.

Cum poate fi lansata o copie a jocului cu sistem AP2.5?
La momentul actual exista posibilitatea lansarii jocurilor cu sistem de protectie AP2.5 pe un numar restrins de console si anume:
  • Copia jocului va putea fi lansata pe console cu versiunea dashboard-ului 2.0.9199, daca aceasta nu necesita update fortat al dashboard-ului (de exemplu Fable III).
  • Copia jocului va putea fi lansata pe console cu versiunea dashboard-ului 2.0.12611 si ultima versiune a custom firmware-ului iXtreme daca DVD drive-ul original al consolei este Toshiba-Samsung TS-943A sau una din primele revizii Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L (pre79, tipul placii de baza - Xenon), astfel incit aceste drive-uri nu sunt compatibile cu sistemul AP2.5.
  • Copia jocului va putea fi lansata pe consolele modate total (freeBOOT) cu versiunea dashboard-ului 2.0.12611.0 (este nevoie de DashLaunch-2.05 sau patching manual al fisierului default.xex).
  • Copia jocului NU va putea fi lansata pe dashboard-ul cu versiunea 2.0.12611 cu ultima versiune a custom firmware-ului iXtreme, daca DVD drive-ul original al consolei este altul decit Toshiba-Samsung TS-943A sau primele revizii Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L (pre79), chiar daca ulterior DVD drive-ul original al consolei a fost schimbat (spoofing) pe unul Toshiba-Samsung TS-943A sau una din primele revizii Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L (pre79).

Care este solutia pentru cei, la care copia jocului nu poate fi lansata?
Creatorul custom firmweare-urilor pentru XBOX360, cunoscut sub nickname-ul commodore4eva sau mai simplu c4eva - a promis ca in curind va lansa un nou custom firmware (iXtreme LT+), care va putea depasi sistemul AP2.5. Ramine doar sa asteptam aparitia acesteia (orientativ pina la sarbatorile de Craciun), dupa care sa va adresati unui specialist, care ar putea instala noul custom firmware (LT+) pe console XBOX360.

Ce jocuri contin deja sistemul AP2.5 si cum pot afla care jocuri noi vor contine AP2.5?
La data de 16.11.2010 exista 3 jocuri cu sistem de protectie AP2.5: Fable III, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
Cu ajutorul programului abgx360 v1.0.3 pot fi identificate image-urile jocurilor cu sistem de protectie AP2.5 - in fereastra scanarii veti intilni textul: AntiPiracy25 Media (Exemplu). Practic, putem fi siguri ca marea majoritate a jocurilor aparute dupa 01.11.2010 vor contine sistemul de protectie AP2.5.
