Who are the most disliked fans?


Is it the Tottenham fans? The same fans who, after failing to finish above us in the Premiership, seem to think they will finish above us the following season. Surprisingly, for the first time in their history, they’ve qualified for the UEFA Champions League, and I’m not hearing many Tottenham fans. Are they quietly confident? If so, I hate to admit, but I don’t like that.

Is it the Liverpool fans? Still living in the past. Let’s face it, Hitler made history too, but you don’t hear many people singing his praises any more. Even the Germans are fed up with him.

The Chelsea fans, who actually believe they would be a great team, even if Roman Abramovich had taken over the club. So, they really think that £500m spent over the past 7 years or so hasn’t helped them win the Premiership three times? They honestly do believe that the Russian isn’t the reason behind their success. Mentals!

Surprisingly, I don’t really have a problem with the Man United fans. Yes, they are our biggest rivals, but in all honesty they have every right to be confident and slightly arrogant. They have been the most successful side in England over the past twenty years. The main issue I have with the United fans is that some of them actually believe that Eric Cantona was the greatest Premiership player! He was over-rated, and short-lived, and we all know Thierry Henry is the greatest Premiership player of all time.

This may be a controversial one, but are the Arsenal fans the ones you can’t stand? The ones I’m talking about are the negative ones who believe that Arsenal are better off without Wenger in charge. We have a number of young fans who really have no idea what football was like before Wenger joined, and really cannot appreciate the man enough. They are fickle, and ungrateful. Of course, we haven’t won a trophy for a few years, but I’d like anyone to tell me one manager who consistently won trophies at Arsenal? The day Wenger leaves Arsenal is the day we struggle. He’s had to balance the books due to the huge debt of the stadium, and he’s still continued to finish in the top 4 year after year. Football, from a financial point of view, is going to explode soon, and Arsenal will be secure. I guarantee that.
