Капитан "Арсенала" Сеск Фабрегас решил рискнуть своими отношениями с Венгером, заявив, что сборная Испании готовится к важным играм куда лучше, чем его команда на клубном уровне.

В интервью BBC, Фабрегас очень высоко оценил профессионализм Дель Боске касательно подготовки к играм.

"В сборной нам дают намного больше информации о сопернике, чем это происходит в Арсенале", - заявил Фабрегас.

"В Арсенале же мы не получаем информации о другой команде, мы сосредоточены только на собственной подготовке. Здесь, даже за 2-3 дня до матча мы начинаем смотреть кое-какие видео о сопернике, и более менее осведомлены об игроках, против которых выйдем играть… Мы знаем о них практически всё".

"Тут вам достаточно иметь свою компанию, с которой можно поиграть в карты или в Playstation, просто повеселиться. Мы тренируемся утром, в обед и рано идем спать.. На самом деле, у нас не так много времени думать о чем-нибудь еще".

PIRES DISMISSES BLUES REPORTS

Former Arsenal star Robert Pires has dismissed reports that he was set to return to the Premier League with Birmingham City.

The Blues were linked with a move for the 36-year-old former France winger, who is available on a free transfer after leaving Spanish club Villarreal at the end of last season.

However, Pires claims that quotes attributed to him in which he discussed his desire to return to England four years after leaving the Gunners are not true.

"I saw the statements attributed to me and saying I was in contact with several English clubs. I didn't make those statements," he said.

"I would be attracted by a comeback to England, but no-one has contacted me or my agent so far."

Ozil for Chelsea or Man U but not Arsenal

The Daily Mail are reporting that Mesut Ozil could be heading to Chelsea, Manchester United or Arsenal.

The Werder Bremen midfielder, who did so well in Germany opening match of the World Cup 2010, will cost around £20m apparently.

Perhaps Ozil could be a replacement for Joe Cole at Chelsea or the ageing Paul Scholes at United, but it's difficult to imagine an attacking midfielder being a transfer priority for Arsenal.

Wenger - I'd sign a petition against vuvuzela

Arsène Wenger is prepared to join the growing protest against vuvuzelas at the World Cup.

Virtually every game at the South African tournament has been played amid the drone of supporters' horns. It was a novelty for a while but, as the event completes its first full week, that has now well and truly worn off.

"It kills one of the charms of football - the songs," said Wenger, who is at the World Cup commentating for French TV. "The vocal support disappears.

"Also I must say it is not very nice to sit through a game while a guy blows one of those in your ear. I find it uncomfortable. On television it might look amusing but when you are confronted with it on a daily basis - even at the airports - it is an absolute nightmare.

"I would sign a petition to get rid of them tomorrow. For me it's World Cup South Africa - yes, vuvuzela no."
