Which Player Will Bring Creativity To Manchester United’s Midfield? (am gasit pe un forum de-al lui United)

I‘ve been banging on for two years (to anyone that will listen :-)

) centre midfield is our main problem, not that man Berbatov.

There is a lack of creativity from centre midfield with a 35 year old Paul Scholes still our most creative player. I love Scholes, he’s had a decent season however it is unfair to ask Scholes to perform to the high standards he sets himself on a consistent basis at this stage of his career.

Carrick has come in for heavy criticism this season, some justified some not in my opinion. Admittedly Carrick started the season slowly but since Christmas I thought he’s played okay until of course recent games. It should not be forgotten Carrick had a stint playing in the centre defence so deserves a little slack in that respect. Perhaps Carrick is a bridesmaid – good, but not quite at the top tier of elite players?

Fletcher for the last two years has been sensational, he has turned himself from a player heavily criticised into a key member of the first team. Fletcher would probably admit himself he has less natural talent than Scholes but makes up with sheer hard work and effort. Fletcher is now a big game player and one of the first names on team sheet.

Similar to all absent players Anderson’s reputation has somewhat grown in his absence. Anderson still has plenty to prove in my opinion, think his reputation is slightly higher than what it should be at the moment. Of course Anderson is still young and has bags of potential. Hopefully Fergie is around long enough to install good habits into Anderson.

Gibson has potential; we all know he has an eye for goal. For me, Gibson requires to improve on his passing in and around the penalty area rather than shooting at every opportunity. Perhaps this will come with experience..?

Unfortunately I feel Hargreaves is not the solution. We should take every game he plays as a bonus next season, there is no guarantee Hargreaves can play week in week out.

From discussions on blog and forum it seems the popular solutions are:

* Milner

Which midfielder would see solve the lack of creativity in midfield?

Is midfield not the problem, would you prefer another striker?

Dintre cei enumerati cred ca Gourcuff sau Milner,dar cel mai mult il doresc pe Rodwell,iar ca solutie in atac,fara discutii Villa e lider,dar nici Jovetic nu ar fi o varianta proasta.

Red Knights meet to finalise Manchester United takeover plan

The wealthy group of Manchester United fans known as the Red Knights are meeting today to finalise the structure of their proposed bid to buy the club.

The group, led Goldman Sachs chief economist Jim O'Neill, are expected to continue discussions over how best to structure any bid.

Since investment bank Nomura was appointed as an advisor on 12 March it has been meeting with the 40 or so individuals who expressed an interest in bidding for Manchester United.

The group, which also includes Freshfields partner Mark Rawlinson and hedge fund co-founder Paul Marshall, has been continuing to work on the plan since it became public at the beginning of March.

Today, Nomura is expected to provide an update on its discussions with interested parties and they will debate how to structure any bid.

Key questions include how to structure the fan-backed element of the bid to allow supporters to take a greater stake in the club over time and whether to retain the £509m bond taken out by the Glazers to allow them to flow money out of the club and pay down their onerous high interest PIK loans.

The Glazers continue to insist the club is not for sale. Any bid is unlikely to be put forward until the close season, with no public comment expected until then.

Noi facem planuri ca o sa fie adus Cutarescu,Icsulescu s.a.m.d.,parca vad situatia de anul trecut,cand toata presa specula ca banii luati de pe CR vor fi investiti in cumparare de noi jucatori si nu s-a adus niimc,in afara de Valencia.Asa si in acest an,l-am cumparat pe Smalling si pe Hernandez si gata.Nu vad eu cum americanii ar da bani,in conditiile in care au asemenea datorii.

Obertan oricum cred ca a fost o buna investitie,avand in vedere pretul platit pe el,faptul ca a fost declarat cel mai bun jucator al turneului de la Toulon,deja spune ceva despre valoarea acestui baietas.Daca nu ar fi avut acele probleme la spate,fiti siguri ca pretul lui ar fi fost mult mai mare.
