Agenda secreta a lui Txiki Begiristain

Lista posibilelor tinte ale lui FC Barcelona in campania de transferuri din vara pentru sezonul competitional 2010-2011

Reluand ideea celor patru transferuri pe care FC Barcelona le va urmari la vara, cotidianul El Mundo Deportivo publica “agenda secreta a lui Txiki Begiristain”, nominalizand jucatorii pe care clubul catalan ii are in vizor pe cele trei posturi considerate deficitare: portar, fundas dreapta, aripa stanga. Prioritatea absoluta in campania de transferuri va fi insa repatrierea lui Cesc Fabregas, jucator despre care intreaga presa catalana a scris in ultimele zile ca mai mult ca sigur se va desparti de Arsenal si ca se va intoarce pe Camp Nou pentru 55 de milioane de euro.

Pentru postul de portar, Barcelona are doua variante in cazul in care Jose Manuel Pinto nu va ramane la echipa si se va dori totusi cumpararea unui nou goalkeeper cu experienta. Cei doi nominalizati sunt Claudio Bravo (26 de ani, titularul nationalei Chile si al lui Real Sociedad) si Gorka Iraizoz (29 de ani, Athletic Bilbao).

In ceea ce priveste rezerva lui Dani Alves pentru postul de fundas dreapta, tintele sunt Rafinha (24 de ani, Schalke 04), Emmanuel Eboue (26, Arsenal) si Azpilicueta (20 de ani, Osasuna). In timp ce despre primii doi se crede ca ar putea suplini cu succes o eventuala absenta a lui Dani Alves datorita stilului de joc ofensiv asemanator cu al brazilianului, Azpilicueta ar fi vazut ca o investitie pentru viitor, fiind vazut la cei 20 de ani ai sai ca unul dintre cei mai talentati tineri jucatori din campionatul spaniol.

Pentru postul de aripa stanga sunt cei mai multi candidati, in afara de deja mult mediatizatele tinte Franck Ribery si David Silva, existand si variantele Juan Mata (21 de ani, Valencia), Willian (21, Sahtior Donetk) si Luis Suarez (22, Ajax Amsterdam).

Piqué and Iniesta participate in Nike-ad, along with Cesc

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo, reports that Barcelona players Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique, recently travelled to Manchester in England for the recording of a ‘spot’ advertisement by ‘Nike’, one of the team’s sponsors.

The Barca players in shooting will be accompanied by Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas and Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney. Both the players, Cesc and Rooney, were of Barca’s interests at some point. Eventhough Rooney recently declared he is happy at United, Cesc is still in Barca’s mind, where he might be one of the major signings for next summer.

Barca looking to sign Fabregas and Eboue

English sports tabloid The Sun, claims that Barcelona want to sign Arsenal duo Cesc Fabregas (22) and Emmanuel Eboue (26) for the next summer. Barcelona are apparently ready to offer £40million to bring Cesc Fabregas back to Barcelona.

The report also claims that Barca sporting director Txiki Begiristan has been following Ivory Coast international Eboue, and is said to be impressed by the 26 year old right back. It seems Txixi is impressed by the fact that Eboue is also highly effective at the centre of the defence.

According to the report a Barcelona insider said: “Our coach Pep Guardiola is also very keen and we are working at the situation”.

Father: “Barca chasing Mohamed Zidan”

Abdullah Zidan the father of Egyptian international and Borussia Dortmund attacker Mohamed Zidan (29), claims FC Barcelona are interested in the Egyptian star. Abdullah told in an interview with Egyptian channel Dream TV, that FC Barcelona along with English giants Arsenal and Manchester United are following his son.

“Mohamed told me that Arsenal and Manchester United asked his agent about his situation. He also told me that Barcelona is interested in him,” said the player’s father.

“Zidan always inserts a buy-out clause in his contracts with the clubs, so that allows him to leave for bigger clubs”, he added.

The Egyptian player helped his country to land their third consecutive African Cup of Nations title recently in Angola. He scored one goal and assisted the goal at the final against Ghana in that tournament.

Mohamed Zidan is a 29 year-old attacker who usually plays as a second striker for his club and has scored 9 goals in 45 appearances with his Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund.

Aguero: “Today, Messi Is The Best”

In a recent interview with World Soccer Magazine, Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero (21), has backed his Argentina teammate Lionel Messi, after the latter won the FIFA World Player of the Year award.

“It’s well deserved. He’s won the treble, something that every player wants to win, and he’s got so much class too. There are plenty of quality players out there like Xavi, Iniesta, and Cristiano Ronaldo, but Leo has proved he is the best.”

When asked if he thought Messi can reach the illustrious heights of Pele, or even his father-in-law and Argentina national coach Diego Maradona, Aguero said, “It’s different now because there are many players who are very good: Cristiano, Messi, Kaka, Xavi, Iniesta, that’s half a dozen for you already, and there are many more. Before, Diego was on his own, or there were maybe two or three players who really stood out; now there are many. But like I keep saying, today Messi is the best.”

Asked if he thought Leo was happy with the way things were going with the national team, the Atletico star said, “It’s not his fault, it’s a different thing playing for Argentina than playing for your club. With your team, you train every day, you know how each other moves, you know where the ball is going to be played. With Argentina I do not always know exactly how Tevez is going to move, for example, and we have so far failed to become a team in which we all know each other well.”

Barcelona Scouting Las Palmas striker Rondon

Spanish radio station Cadena SER claims that FC Barcelona is interested in Venezuelan attacker and Las Palmas striker Jose Salomon Rondon (20).

The 20-year-old forward has scored 4 goals with Las Palmas so far this season and Cadena SER reports that Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, Almeria, Deportivo La Coruna and Sporting Gijon apart from Barcelona are also interested in the player. The young forward has played a vital role for his national team in the last U-20 World cup held in Egypt where he scored 4 goals in 3 matches.
