Crystal Palace's slump into administration will ensure primary asset Victor Moses will be sold imminently, said the player's agent Tony Finnigan who cites the club's decision to pull Moses out of Wednesday evening's squad that faces Newcastle United as evidence.

The future of the club is now ambiguous, as Palace's administrative status may force a ten-point deduction, as well as the departure of sellable players.

Moses, a prodigiously talented attacker, has no shortage of attackers and since the formal opening of the January transfer window the 19-year-old has been linked with moves to Arsenal, Manchester City, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Spanish heavyweight pair Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The player's agent, Finnigan, believes a transfer is now on the cards.

"He was stunned [regarding his omission from the Palace squad on Wednesday]," Finnigan told Sky Sports News. "He was prepared to play and do his bit for the team.

"I called yesterday to let him [administrator Brendan Guilfoyle] know we are here but I haven't spoken to anyone since. Just waiting by the phone like everyone else."

He continued: "A lot of scouts were at Wolves on Saturday and it has been been widely reported that Nottingham forest, West Bromwich Albion and some Premier League sides had an interest but that's not the same as making an offer.

"Now the club is in administration, clubs that were interested who maybe thought he was too expensive, can now [place] a modest [transfer fee] rather than £5m or £6 million."

When probed as to why Moses was not sold before the club were plunged into administration, so that Palace could receive the highest possible renumeration for their academy product, Finnigan adopted a coy attitude.

"I don't know why he wasn't sold before, but I am not the chairman or manager. I can't say how much he will go for, that is the administrator's job."

Finnigan also expressed that Moses will only join the club where he can continue his development and education, rather than the club that offers the most lucrative contract.

"I want my player to go to the right football club, there is a human being who has right to chose where he plays his football, that is what my job is. It won't be just cash that makes us move.

"I think Victor has got what it takes to be in the squad of a Premier League club, he's got to earn the right to play and there are lots of parts of Victor Moses' game that need to be improved."

When asked if he will stay past the end of the current transfer window, Finnigan candidly revealed: "No chance, no way, if you're pulled out of a game it's for a reason.

"They are going to be selling him."
