Redknapp-doua echipe se vor lupta in acest an pentru titlu

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes it is a two horse race between Chelsea and Manchester United for the Premier League title.

The Blues beat Arsenal on Sunday to pull five points clear of United at the top of the table, with Spurs in third a massive ten points behind Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Redknapp said he learnt nothing new about the title race after the weekend, saying he has thought for weeks that it is between the top two.

He told Sky Sports News: "Anyone who knew anything about football knew how strong Chelsea were before the weekend.

"And Man United, I said weeks and weeks ago that I could see Chelsea and Man United fighting out the championship this year and that's how I am sure it is going to be again."
Gunners shot

Despite Arsene Wenger insisting that the Gunners are still in the title hunt, Redknapp does not agree.

He added: "I wouldn't see them winning the championship - you saw yesterday just how strong Chelsea are, powerful, they have got everything really.

"Man United will chase them all the way and you can never write United off - they've got great players as well and they've got to play Chelsea at Old Trafford still.

"So I see the two of them pulling away. I spoke with Alex (Ferguson) two weeks ago at a function and he felt the same way, that it would end up a couple of teams, two pulling away and that's how it looks to me as it's going to finish.

"It will be between them two teams."

Owen Hargreaves

Milton Keynes Dons manager Paul Ince, 42, a two-time Premier League winner with Manchester United in the early 1990s, believes the return of Owen Hargreaves should be welcomed by both Manchester United and England fans. The anchoring midfielder would be like a new signing, claimed Ince.
He told Press Association Sport: "Sir Alex Ferguson must feel he's worth it to persist with him for such a long time, he's a fantastic player.

"I like the way he plays and he has been missed at Man United and England. If you get him fit it'll be like having a new player, not only for Manchester United but for England as well."

Hargreaves has been dogged by a series of knee injuries, and has required two surgeries in order to rid him of the tendinitis problem. There was initial trepidation over the player's future, but United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes he could be fit for the Champions League clash against Wolfsburg in a week's time.

"He's been out for so long that it's nice to see him back on the pitch where he belongs," concluded Ince.

Manchester United Youngsters Need To Toughen Up - Gary Neville

Young players must work harder to make the grade at Old Trafford...

Manchester United veteran Gary Neville has urged the current crop of young players at Old Trafford to show a similar amount of drive and determination to that of previous generations at the club.

And Neville believes that such determination to succeed is something that can only come from the player himself.

"You don't get too much said to you by the senior players, to be honest. You have to do it yourself," the right-back told The Daily Mirror.

"You do get help on the pitch, but it's a tough school here and you've got to make your own mark.

"As a young player you've got to take your opportunities when they come along.

"The young players know the expectations. The fans let you know what those are.

"The manager does, too. You are surrounded by it all the time at Old Trafford."

Neville also feels that the whole squad must remain focused as they look to chase down current leaders Chelsea in the race for the Premier League title.
"This place is an institution, a religion, and it needs dealing with in its own right every week," he added.

"You can't be focusing on other things. You get found out quickly here if you get distracted.

"We're here to win titles every season and the fact we've got 18 is irrelevant. If we had 15, we'd want 16. We have 18 so we want 19.

"Now the internationals are out of the way we can focus on what we have to do here.

"We've got to position ourselves better come January and February – because that's when the real charge starts."
