Shi normal au facut, noi avem pe 22 meci cu siena si pe 30 derby-ul cu Inter, bine ca l-au anulat.

Milan Will Sign Monaco's Flavio Roma To Replace Zeljko Kalac - Adriano Galliani

Milan coach Leonardo has not been impressed with 'keeper Zeljko Kalac since taking charge this summer and the Rossoneri have moved to sign Monaco’s Flavio Roma as a replacement for the veteran Australian.

None of Christian Abbiati, Marco Storari or Nelson Dida can be relied upon for consistency, but with four 'keepers on the books it was necessary for the Rossoneri to remove one from their squad list.

Although Dida was linked with a move to Genoa, the Rossoblu have since bought Marco Amelia from Palermo, and the Milan hierarchy have decided to release Kalac instead.

"We are about to rescind Kalac's contract. If all goes well we will sign Flavio Roma," vice president Adriano Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Monaco goalkeeper was linked with a move to Roma earlier this summer, and the maroon half of the Eternal City has also been mooted as a destination for Kalac. However, the 35-year-old Italian is eager to move to Milan, and his agent has claimed it is not the first time that the Rossoneri have enquired about his availability.

Monaco director Marc Keller has commented that "considering all that Flavio has given to the club, [a transfer] is certainly not going to create problems".

Roma is expected to complete his medical and sign a one-year contract later today.

A.C. Milan also communicated they have bought Flavio Roma, who has signed a contract until 30 June 2010, from A.S. Monaco.

Milan Target Real Madrid's Royston Drenthe – Report
The Rossoneri are weighing up a loan deal for the former Feyenoord man...

Milan are considering a host of players to solve their left-sided problems, but believe that Real Madrid's Royston Drenthe is one of the best solutions.

Though Gareth Bale remains their first choice target, if a deal cannot be pushed through, Milan will return to los Merengues for another of the Spanish club’s Dutchmen, having signed Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from the Madrid club last week.

Although no official contact has yet been made between the clubs over Drenthe, who can fill in anywhere down the left flank, Il Corriere dello Sport suggests that Milan will sound Real Madrid president Florentino Perez out over a loan move in the coming hours.

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani is thought to be prepared to pay €3-4 million to take the 22-year-old on loan for a season, with an option to make the move permanent for around €7-8m at the end of the season.

The Rossoneri's final major transfer push will begin next week after the Trofeo Tim, and they are expected to move for Gareth Bale and Lorenzo De Silvestri. A move for the latter may be put on hold because the 21-year-old picked up an injury while playing for the Italian Under-21s and Milan will wait to see the extent of the damage.
