Luis Fabiano Cannot Let AC Milan Opportunity Escape - Agent
The Brazilian's impressive showing at the Confederations Cup seems to have earned him plenty of interest...
Luis Fabiano looks as though he is close to joining AC Milan after his agent stated that "he cannot let an opportunity of this size pass him by".
The Italian club have been rumoured to be interested in the Brazilian and reports earlier today claimed that Milan officials were in Sevilla to negotiate a deal.
The player himself has said that it would be a "dream" to play for the Italian club, whilst Jose Fuentes told Marca that "it is an aspiration of his whole life" to join Milan.
The Sevilla striker was in fine form at the recent Confederations Cup in South Africa, finishing the tournament as top scorer as Brazil lifted the trophy.
Whilst he has suffered from injuries lately at club level, not only Milan but also Manchester United have been reported to be interested and he looks like he could leave the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this summer.
Fuentes explained that he expects Sevilla to be understanding with regards to the situation and that should he leave it would be "a good financial deal".

Pirlo Will Only Go To Atletico Madrid If They Can Win Champions League - Albertini
The Italian could be off to either England or Spain this summer...
Demetrio Albertini, the former Atletico Madrid and AC Milan player, believes that Andrea Pirlo will only move to Atletico if they offer a team that can win the Champions League.
The midfielder has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this summer and it is reported that Milan are willing to let him go.
Whilst Chelsea have shown their interest in recent weeks, it is reported today that Atletico could rival them, and Albertini believes Pirlo could move to Spain.
"Pirlo is committed to Milan. He has a very big contract, and that is the problem. If Pirlo leaves he will want to go to a team who can win the Champions League. Pirlo cannot leave Milan and go to a smaller team," he told Marca.
"Atletico will offer him a good contract and a team that can win the Champions League or La Primera, and he will think about it. Pirlo will only go if they can offer him a team to win the Champions League and league though. I believe that is what a player should think about...He will only go for a good sporting project."
The Italian went on to state that things have changed a lot since he played for Atletico, especially with the arrival of Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero.
"Yes, with 'Kun' and Forlan it has changed a lot...not just those players, but they have a good team, and if they continue it will be a great move for Atletico," he mused.
Aside from just Atletico though, Albertini also spoke about the quality of football in Spain at the moment.
"I would tell Pirlo that in Spain football is how we like it and it is fun to play. I would tell him Atletico are a very good club and they have special fans. I had the bad luck to have a series of non-sporting problems but in Spain they love football and it is a good place to play," he said.
"I am a very good friend of Pirlo's but as of yet I have not spoken to him about it, I will say though that he is a great player. It is possible that now he can leave if a good sporting offer arrives."

Milan Boss Leonardo: I’m Not Cut Out For The Bench
The Brazilian admits he has a knack for administrative roles and the Rossoneri job is just a transitional phase in his career.

Leonardo was handed the reins of Milan last month after Carlo Ancelotti walked away to join Chelsea, but the former Brazilian midfielder has stunningly revealed that he has gazed into his crystal ball and coaching is nowhere to be seen.

“Throughout my career, I have always handled my contracts and administered my finances,” ‘Leo’ told Brazilian weekly Veja.

“I always made investments without middle-men and I thought I would have done this after quitting football, not become a tactician. I even told [owner Silvio] Berlusconi about it and took management classes at the Bocconi University.

“I think that this coaching thing will just be a phase in my administrative career.”

Leonardo admitted to suffering from a bout of depression, which lead him to become involved in charity work.

“It happened during my first spell in Italy, I was about 30,” he said.

“I felt guilty because I could buy expensive clothes and eat in fancy places. Instead of taking pleasure in it, these things were hurting me. Depression brought about insomnia and tachycardia.

“I was in therapy for three months. My ex-wife and my parents helped me get through it. I started reading philosophy and psychology books and that’s when I set up the Fundacao Gol di Letra.

“My home in Milan became practically empty and I did not even have a computer anymore.”

The Fundacao Gol di Letra is a foundation that Leonardo set up along with ex-Brazil midfielder Rai to help children in need.

AC Milan Have Made An Official Offer For Luis Fabiano - Agent
Luis Fabiano's agent revealed that Milan want to sign the Sevilla striker, who would consider a move to the Rossoneri the crowning moment of his career.

There seems to be little doubt that AC Milan's primary transfer target is Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano. This was confirmed today by the player's agent Jose Fuentes, who admitted the Rossoneri have made an offer for the Confederations Cup top scorer.

"I confirm that Milan have made an official offer," he said to Sky Sport 24, "and the player has officially communicated that he wants to go to Milan, this is his desire, because this transfer would be the crowning moment of his career."

The player's price is €30 million, but Fuentes think this figure could be adjusted.

"The buyout clause is of €30 million, but in Sevilla there are intelligent people, and they know the player's desire counts for a lot," he continued, "and that we are going through a difficult economic time.

"The situation is clear, we're waiting and hoping the clubs will negotiate and come to an agreement, this is our desire and we believe everything could be resolved shortly."

Porto left back Aly Cissokho has blasted Milan over his failed move to San Siro, claiming there is nothing wrong with his teeth, and that the Rossoneri called off the move due to monetary reasons.
Milan announced that they had signed the Frenchman last month, but then the transfer collapsed after the Italians claimed that they had found a problem with Cissokho’s teeth during his medical.
“I am fine and have no problem with my teeth, they are as perfect as always,” Cissokho roared in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I have never had a problem like this, just as I have never had muscular problems in recent years.
“I don’t know why Milan are saying these things, and I don’t like it. I only found out some time after the medical. I went to Senegal for 10 days and when I returned from holiday they told me there was a problem.
“I did two medicals – one for Milan and one for the Italian Federation – and nobody told me there was anything wrong. It’s just an excuse to stop the transfer.
“Now I am tired of this situation. I hear from one side that I’m going to Milan, then I’m staying at Porto, then leaving to go somewhere else. I want an answer.
“The real problem is not my teeth. In this whole affair the issue is money.”
Cissokho’s remarks are certain to annoy Milan fans, many of whom are becoming increasingly frustrated by the transfer movements of the club’s management. There are now reports that Cissokho could instead move to Lyon as a replacement for the Juventus-bound Fabio Grosso.
