Жоан Лапорта уже негативно отреагировал на данные заявления. Правда, главный удар пришелся не на игрока, а на агента. По мнению президента каталонцев, именно он хочет поднять своему подопечному зарплату. Лапорта объяснил, что в условиях экономического кризиса на данном этапе сложно добиться значительного повышения зарплаты. По сути, кризис не влияет только на проект Флорентино Переса, который способен потратить 150 млн. евро за несколько дней.

Виктору Вальдесу был предложен новый контракт с зарплатой в 6 млн. евро, но переговоры сорвались. Агент и игрок требуют увеличить эту сумму до 9 миллионов. Руководство "Барселоны" сейчас не готово настолько поднять планку зарплаты для своего воспитанника. И Алекс Фергюсон, который этим летом получит хорошие деньги из столицы Испании, намерен воспользоваться данной ситуацией. Пока что речь не дошла до конкретных предложений. Но английская пресса серьезно уверена в том, что такой трансфер весьма возможен, так как переговоры по продлению контракта Вальдеса пока что зашли в тупик. Read Madrid-bound Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he enjoys being singled out for abuse by opposition supporters.

Manchester United have accepted a world record Ј80million transfer fee from Real which will see the Portuguese phenomenon switch to Spain this summer once personal terms are agreed.

Ronaldo flourished in the wake of the 2006 World Cup, when he was targeted by opposition fans in the Premier League angry at his reaction to Wayne Rooney's red card in England's quarter-final defeat by Portugal.

The gifted forward, who appears to be never out of the spotlight, believes that for every fan who jeers him, there are more who appreciate his talents.
Insults

Ronaldo told French football magazine So Foot: "I love it when people jeer me. I love to see the hate in their eyes, to hear the insults. It doesn't bother me.

"It's true lots of people hate me but there are even more who love me and who support me.

"I feel bad only when I play badly. Fortunately, that happens rarely."

Ronaldo has set his sights on carving his name into the football history books and will not rest of what he has already achieved at Old Trafford.

He added: "I still have a long way to go. I really want to re-write the history of football.

"I an aware I'm already among the best of the best but I want to continue to write many more beautiful pages."

Ferguson

The former Sporting Lisbon ace will come up against Barcelona star Lionel Messi on a regular basis in Spain, with the Argentina ace winning their personal duel in this summer's UEFA Champions League final.

But Ronaldo said: "I have nothing to envy Lionel for. I don't compare myself to others. I am Cristiano Ronaldo - and I can win more medals than anybody else.

"I don't like to relax. The fans want see a great Cristiano Ronaldo so I try to never disappoint."

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that once it became clear Ronaldo was keen to join Real, there was little they could do to stand in his way.

Ferguson told the Mail on Sunday: "He wanted to leave, it's as simple as that.

"He was going to go for some time. We've done well to keep him for so long."

David Villa

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is making a British record £45million bid for Valencia striker David Villa.

Ferguson will take on Real Madrid for the signature of the Spanish star who will be sold by his cash-strapped club.

Villa has been on the United manager’s radar for several years and now he has the money from the £80m sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real to fight them for Villa.

Ferguson has been given a £100m war chest – the whole £80m from the Ronaldo transfer plus £20m extra.

Fergie’s priorities are a proven scorer like Villa and a right-wing replacement for the Portuguese star, Wigan’s Luis Antonio Valencia.

Villa will definitely be sold by his club, with Real boasting they should land him this week.

But Ferguson has already started his moves to beat them to it. Chelsea tried for Villa last week but were told he was going to Madrid.

But Fergie won’t be put off and he has the financial muscle to back it up.

The United chief thinks he can win the race for Villa if he can pitch the right case to him, backed up by cash. He is masterminding the move from his South of France holiday base.
