"Global warming has changed oceanic currents "

What is global warming
Global warming is the phenomenon of increasing average temperatures registered in the sky close to the ground and the oceans.
The phenomenon of global warming began to worry after'60 years, following massive industrial development and increasing concentration of greenhouse gases that are considered in large measure responsible for this phenomenon.

Climate models developed by specialists in the field estimate that the global climate will warm by 1.1 - 6.4 ° C in the course of the 21st century. Estimates vary because it can not be expected evolution of gas emissions that cause the greenhouse effect. Besides, the trend continues heating the planet in a century is revealed by many studies in the field. But it is very worrying that the climate scenarios show that polar regions will warm up most of what could have dramatic consequences.

The main cause of global warming is increasing the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere in the last centuries.
This was 280 ppm before the Industrial Revolution, is now 430 ppm, that is almost double, and in the year 2035 would be 550 ppm, if the flow of current emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) would be maintained over natural absorption capacity.
This could result in the immediate period to increase by another 2 ° C. This is likely to happen if you take into account the development impetioasa economies in China, India, Brazil, Australia, Southeast Asia or eastern Europe and the fact that the U.S. has not yet ratified the Kyoto Protocol, while use replacement sources of clean renewable energy and retention of CO2 in the fossil fuel plants rank hard.

Besides industrial development, another cause just as important is the massive deforestation of forests. They lead to an increase in concentrations of pollutants which cause global warming effect and the depletion of the ozone layer. To stop the negative effects caused by the clearing specialists say that it would take an afforestation with 20% of the total existing nivlul the entire globe.

The effects of global warming
Experts on the evolution of the Intergovernmental Climate (GIEC) have launched an alarming diagnosis of the dangers of global warming. According to them, a heating with 2 or 3 degrees Celsius globally from the average temperature in 1990 will have a huge impact on all world regions.

Until the year 2080, about 3.4 billion people will suffer from serious water shortages caused by the melting glacier and the other 600 million people suffer from hunger from the drought, soil degradation and salinizarii.
Drought will affect large areas of southern Africa, Latin America, Mediterranean region, Middle Mjlociu and North Africa.

Some studies e.g. predicting amazoniene forests could simply dry, antrenand ruin a huge number of species of animals and plants. Experts say that just now happened 55 million years, at the end Paleocenului, when an increase by 5 degrees Celsius temperatures to average pustiit planet.

In order to save the species must adapt to these changes or migrate with climate zones. Those species can not adapt or not to migrate, risks to disappear because of climate change in their habitat. For example, the species in mountain areas will have nowhere to move to areas higher and cold which would lead to their disappearance, if they will not adapt. A similar situation will be recorded in the arctic. Flora and fauna in the area can not move north in May to keep from global warming and are unlikely to disappear.

The waves of heat - consequence of global warming - involve some risk to public health, especially in urban areas, where temperatures are higher.
It is known that hot weather could increase the risk of death, especially to people susceptible to the effects of sensitivity to heat stress. Most have vulnerability, generally people in the age groups that exceed 65 years.

Canicula can also cause natural disasters. This can cause fires, or maybe maintains forest fires caused by human negligence. In this case are destroyed areas of industrial forest (sometimes tens of thousands of hectares), putting, also lives in danger to persons in the neighborhood. They also causing clouds of smoke that prevents unfolding in a good transport.

By the impact on production of food, drought can have devastating effects on human health. This even more as drought is a phenomenon with great frequency in extensive areas of state in developing, with numerous people.
Lack of food cause a higher level of morbidity, caused by a number of diseases, among which differ pellagra, feripriva anemia, hypocalcaemia, hipomagnezia, content decreased in macro-and, especially, micronutrients (vitamins, mineral salts), but and weakening the body resistance against pathogenic factors.

Anemia, malnutrition and the effects of malnutrition are inadequate consumption of food. Approximately two billion people in developing countries are anemia, and 1.1 billion people around the world are malnutrition (UNPF, 2001). Frequency of malnutrition is also high in many regions of the world. It is estimated that the number of people were chronically underfed, in 1996-1998, from 792 million people, which represents 18% of the total population of the regions concerned.

To avoid a dark future of the planet, should, by 2050, the emission of greenhouse gases to decline twice world and four times for industrialized countries.

There is also an optimistic scenario, under which, until 2100, the temperature will rise by 1.1 - 2.9 degrees Celsius. But specialists believe that is unlikely this inertia is to blame ecological systems and quantities of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere collected from over the past hundred years

They developed should be responsible for halting the process of global warming!

“Global worming and its effects”
Arguments:
The main responsible element for the producing of the greenhouse effect are the water vapors, followed by the emissions of CO2 and CH4 in a big quantity.n the last, they reduced the permiabilitty of the atmosphere. This process had as effect the so called fenomena of global warming.

The evolution of the annual average temperature as an effect of 5 years of industrialization.
The evolution of average temperature in
1995 - 2005 in comparison with 1940 - 1984

Global warming is the increase in the average measured temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century, and its projected continuation.Global surface temperature increased 0.74 ± 0.18 °C during the 100 years ending in 2005.
The main causes of global warming: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes "most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-twentieth century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations" via an enhanced greenhouse effect. Natural phenomena such as solar variation combined with volcanoes probably had a small warming effect from pre-industrial times to 1950 and a small cooling effect from 1950 onward. These basic conclusions have been endorsed by at least 30 scientific societies and academies of science, including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries. While individual scientists have voiced disagreement with these findings, the overwhelming majority of scientists working on climate change agree with the IPCC's main conclusions.
The greenhouse effect

Recent increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). The monthly CO2 measurements display small seasonal oscillations in an overall yearly uptrend; each year's maximum is reached during the Northern Hemisphere's late spring, and declines during the Northern Hemisphere growing season as plants remove some CO2 from the atmosphere.
Existence of the greenhouse effect as such is not disputed. Naturally occurring greenhouse gases have a mean warming effect of about 33 °C (59 °F), without which Earth would be uninhabitable. On Earth, the major greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36–70 percent of the greenhouse effect (not including clouds); carbon dioxide (CO2), which causes 9–26 percent; methane (CH4), which causes 4–9 percent; and ozone, which causes 3–7 percent. The issue is how the strength of the greenhouse effect changes when human activity increases the atmospheric concentrations of some greenhouse gases.
Human activity since the industrial Human activity since the industrial revolution has increased the concentration of various greenhouse gases, leading to increased radiative forcing from CO2, methane, tropospheric ozone, CFCs and nitrous oxide. Molecule for molecule, methane is a more effective greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but its concentration is much smaller so that its total radiative forcing is only about a fourth of that from carbon dioxide. Some other naturally occurring gases contribute small fractions of the greenhouse effect; one of these, nitrous oxide (N2O), is increasing in concentration owing to human activity such as agriculture. The atmospheric concentrations of CO2 and CH4 have increased by 31% and 149% respectively since the beginning of the industrial revolution in the mid-1700s. These levels are considerably higher than at any time during the last 650,000 years, the period for which reliable data has been extracted from ice cores.[25] From less direct geological evidence it is believed that CO2 values this high were last attained 20 million years ago.[26] Fossil fuel burning has produced approximately three-quarters of the increase in CO2 from human activity over the past 20 years. Most of the rest is due to land-use change, in particular deforestation.[27]
The present atmospheric concentration of CO2 is about 385 parts per million (ppm) by volume. Human activities have caused the atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and methane to be higher today than at any point during the last 650,000 years . Future CO2 levels are expected to rise due to ongoing burning of fossil fuels and land-use change. The rate of rise will depend on uncertain economic, sociological, technological, and natural developments, but may be ultimately limited by the availability of fossil fuels. The IPCC Special Report on Emissions Scenarios gives a wide range of future CO2 scenarios, ranging from 541 to 970 ppm by the year 2100. Fossil fuel reserves are sufficient to reach this level and continue emissions past 2100, if coal, tar sands or methane clathrates are extensively used.
Inasmuch as the greenhouse effect is due to human activity, it is a forcing effect that is separate from forcing due to climate variability.
From the beginning of the industrial revolution the concentration of CO2 has increased with 32%. This level is much more impressive then those one which was measured during the program Ice Core.

Production of CO2 by burning fossil fuels, whose share in the period 2000 - 2004 were:
  Burning coal: 35%
  Burning liquid fuel: 36%
  Burning gaseous fuels: 20%
installations torch to hydrocarbon extraction and processing: 1%
  Other hydrocarbons: 1%
  Cement production: 3%
other sources (shipping and air boundless in national statistics): 4%
As can be seen from the figures attached, by country, the largest emissions of CO2 have the United States, followed by China, Indonesia, Russia, India and Brazil. CO2 emissions of the U.S. economy is datorază its large consumer of oil, and of China and Russia because of their energy industries based on burning coal. Per capita emissions levels correspond practically industrialization.

The effects on the atmosphere is manifested by increasing vaporizaţiei, precipitation and the number of storms. As said above, the temperature increase leads to increased amount of water vapor that may be contained in the atmosphere. Although the twentieth century vaporizaţia decreased as a result of global întunecării, during the current vaporizaţia increase due to warming oceans. In order to achieve equilibrium water circuit in nature and must increase the level of precipitation. Increased precipitation may lead to intensification of erosion in some areas, for example in Africa, which can even lead to desertification, and to fostering growth of vegetation in arid areas.
Some scientists consider that vaporizaţia will generate increased storms. In general uraganele only in the North Atlantic. However, in 2004 came the first cyclone in the South Atlantic, Catarina cyclone, which affected Brazil. Although he had a wind speed of 40 m / s (144 km / h), some Brazilians say that meteorology would have been hurricane. There is consensus that this hurricane would be linked to global warming, but some climate models provide cicloanelor emergence of the South Atlantic as a result of global warming. They say that in the second half of the century XXI century will increase the number of storms in temperate and arctic zones in northern hemisphere and in the Antarctic area, but storms mechanism is not clear. Storms that are not of tropical origin depend on the rate of heat, which falls in the northern hemisphere, because the polar regions to warm more than the rest of the hemisphere.

Effects on hydrosphere
Satellite observations indicate a gradual reduction of calotelor polar areas. In the next figure to see (when shutdown) as gheţurile May have been stretched in the winter of 1982 to the winter of 2007.Vârsta average gheţurilor arctic has decreased in the period 1988 - 2005 from 6 to 3 years. Climate warming in this region is about. 2.5 ° C (instead of 0.7 on average on the planet), and the average thickness of gheţurilor decreased by 40% during 1993 - 1997 compared to the period from 1958 to 1976. In 2007, satellite observations have revealed an accelerated melting arctic banchizei, with a decrease in its area by 20% within one year. [If the trend continues, some observatories banchiza believes that it will melt away the summer of 2013 already in instead of 2030 as estimated before. Gheţurilor off on self Antarctica has increased in the last decade (until 2008) to 75%. Case of the snows of the Kilimandjaro, which was initially controversial, was reevaluated after IPCC reports. In the next gallery presents compared two shots, first made on 17 February 1993, and the second on 21 February 2000. Kilimandjaro lost in the twentieth century 82% of its glaciers, which are projected to disappear completely around the year 2020.
