Golurile englezilor au fost reusite de John Terry si Steven Gerrard. Englezii au invins fara emotii, dupa un meci pe care l-au dominat pe tot parcursul celor 90 de minute. Cu toate acestea, gazdele n-au fortat foarte tare si au evoluat dezinvolt, neavand presiunea unui Campionat European care bate la usa. Cu un public fenomenal in spate (72.000 de spectatori), Anglia a inceput tare meciul, astfel ca deschiderea scorului era doar o chestiune de timp. A United statement read: "We have watched with growing irritation the comments attributed to Real Madrid over their alleged desire to sign Cristiano. "We will have no alternative but to report Real if it continues to behave in this totally unacceptable fashion." But Real president Ramon Calderon said: "We know they aren't a selling club. It is a problem between player and team." United's statement came after Madrid coach Bernd Schuster claimed the 23-year-old Portuguese winger was the club's number one summer transfer target. The statement from Old Trafford added: "These public attempts to unsettle the player are completely against the regulations and the club will not tolerate them any longer. "The player is on a long-term contract and his registration is held by Manchester United. The player is not for sale. "We haven't done anything and we are not going to do anything that goes against the wishes of a club we regard as a friend," he added.  The simple fact is Cristiano has another four years left on his contract Sir Alex Ferguson "No-one should be in any doubt that Manchester United will do everything in its power to keep its best players." Dati sa va explic ca is precis ca nu intelegeti ce am in vedre . Opinia mea e ca Ronaldo si cu Messi sunt o reincarnatie moderna a 2 legende a sec XX, Pele si Maradona. Ronaldo-omologul lui Pele.. ambii au inceput sa joace de la virsta frageda p-u cluburile lor (17 ani), ambii joaca de la 18 ani in nationale sale, ambii marcheaza o multime de goluri din pozitie de mijlocasi, ambii au aceleasi caracteristici fizice(atleti, rapizi, joaca bine cu capul, tehnica FK e aceiasi, folosesc finturi, paseaza bine si joaca p-u public).. Mesii- clon al Maradonei, rapid, agil, dribling nebun, mai pe scurt toate caracteristicele predecesorului sau... cind eram mai mic, regretam ca Pele n-a jucat la United (Best, Law, Charlton si Pele) M.U. dream team , dar amu deja mi-a disparut dorinta asta, deoarece il avem pe Giggs, Rooney, Scholes si Ronadlo... Comparatia nu este chiar nimerita,fiecare generatie va avea idolii lor si vor sustine ca ei sunt cei mai buni.Pt mine,spre ex,cel mai bun fotbalist din istorie e fara indoiala Zidane,acesta era un jucator care bucura privirea,era complex.Despre cei mai buni se poate de discutat o vesnicie.Cei doi sunt buni la momentul actual,dar nu se stie cat timp se vor mentine in top.Cu Ronaldinho tot a fost mare valva,dar el acum e un jucator de Murcia si exemplele pt continua.
