Neal Glew, Goal.com Tottenham Complete Modric Signing - Report Tottenham Hotspur have completed the surprise ₤20 million signing of Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, according to reports. Modric is one of the hottest transfer targets in Europe as the summer approaches, having been linked with a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, as well as continental giants such as Barcelona, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich. Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan reportedly placed an ₤18.5 million bid for Modric this week, but was rejected in his attempt to bring the Dinamo Zagreb playmaker to Tyneside.
