Dati si eu sa spun cite ceva!
Inainte de inceperea meciului - chiar aveam un careva moment de neincredere deplina ca vom putea cistiga! toti cine ma intrebau - daca azi cistiga MU - le raspundeam cu careva doza de atentie - ca cel putin - sper la asta.
DAR... doar dupa 10 minute din prima repriza am inteles - ca alta modalitate de desfasurare a avenimentelor decit cea in care MU cistiga nu este. Era alta intrebare - CU CIT? si sa va spun drept - la cite sanse am avut - era destul de real un chiar un 7:0, dar deja pe terenul Romei. Mai ales foarte clare au fost momentele lui Carrick cu toata poarta in fata si voleul lui Ronaldo! Absolut toti au jucat EXCELENT! Sunt mindru ca sunt fan MU!

Johan Cruyff last night paid Cristiano Ronaldo the ultimate compliment - by saying he is better than Manchester United legends Denis Law and George Best.

Former Holland and Ajax superstar Cruyff believes 35-goal Ronaldo is the best player in the world after his stunning season at Old Trafford.

Cruyff, a three-time European Footballer of the Year, says the only player whose goal record can be compared to Ronaldo is Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - but admits the Dutch league is not as strong as the Premier League.

He said: "My favourite for the Golden Boot is Ronaldo.

Huntelaar has scored a lot of goals, but also has the handicap because the value of goals in Holland is different.

"For me, Ronaldo is above the rest and if he keeps scoring in this rhythm and stays in this sort of form then he will prove that he is the best.

"Ronaldo is better than George Best and Denis Law, who were two brilliant and great players in the history of United.

"But Ronaldo is 22 and with his quality and progression in the game, I believe he will be even better and win many more prizes for himself and his club.

"For him to be so good takes dedication.

But he also needs support from his team-mates and his coach, Sir Alex Ferguson.

"The only thing that I see as a weakness in his game is the number of assists, but he is young enough and has the right coach to improve in that respect.

"He scores great goals and now also spectacular free-kicks, but to be the complete forward he must provide more assists as his record can be improved."

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar says it will take something special to convince him to leave Ajax.
The Holland international striker is a target for Chelsea and Manchester United, among several European heavyweights, and told Ajax's website: "I must have a real good feeling about a club if I am to leave Ajax.

"There must be something so I can say it feels good, this is what I want to do."

He added: "All countries have something. Spain has something of everything; England has great crowds and a nice football atmosphere. In Italy the atmosphere in the stadiums is less good, but the people there are football mad. They really live for football."

Injured Vidic to have second scan

Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic will have a second scan on his injured left knee to determine the full extent of the damage caused on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old fell awkwardly in the first half of the 2-0 win over Roma and had to be replaced by John O'Shea.

Vidic has already had one scan, but the swelling around the injury meant the tests were inconclusive.

"I pray it's not serious because he is such an integral part of our team," said United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

"It might just be a nerve injury but we can't be sure at this moment."

Vidic has formed a superb partnership with Rio Ferdinand at the heart of the United defence and any lengthy absence would be a blow as the club target a Premier League and Champions League double.

O'Shea stepped in alongside Ferdinand in Rome, while defender Mikael Silvestre returned to the senior squad for the first time since September after recovering from a knee ligament injury.

Ronaldo 'is best player in world'

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is better than AC Milan's world player of the year Kaka, according to Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster.

The 23-year-old scored against Roma on Tuesday to take his tally to 36 goals for the season, while Kaka's form has dipped in Serie A.

"Ronaldo has already overtaken Kaka after (the Brazilian's) recent slump," said the German coach.

"Right now, Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world."

Kaka beat Ronaldo into third place in the voting for Fifa's world player of the year award last December, with Barcelona's Lionel Messi in second.

But Ronaldo's mesmeric form this season has seen the Portuguese winger move to the top of many observers' lists.

Schuster added that he would like to sign Ronaldo, although he accepted United were unlikely to let him leave in the immediate future.

"He's the star at Old Trafford and until they win the Champions League and another league title or two then they aren't going to let him go," he said.

"So in the short term I don't think it will be possible to sign him.

"But in a couple of years, yes, I believe he could be wearing the white shirt at the Bernabeu."

The Bernabeu boss also suggested that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was on his hit-list for next season.

"Drogba and Seville's Luis Fabiano are very good players. Madrid has to aspire to signing the best," he added.

Manchester United have confirmed Nemanja Vidic has been ruled out for two or three weeks with a knee injury. The Serbia international was forced out of Tuesday night's Champions League quarter-final first leg at Roma after falling awkwardly half-an-hour into the game.

His withdrawal sparked fears of a long-term absence but a scan yesterday showed the problem not to be serious.

A club spokesman said: "There is no major damage to the left knee, and he will be out for two-three weeks."

Vidic is likely to miss Sunday's Barclays Premier League trip to Middlesbrough, Wednesday's Champions League return against Roma and the following weekend's league clash with Arsenal.

ALEX FERGUSON expects Gary Neville to make his long-awaited comeback before the end of the season.

The Manchester United skipper has been out for a year with ankle and calf injuries.

But Neville, 33, is included in the squad to face Middlesbrough on Sunday.

And United boss Fergie said: “It has been a long road back for Gary.

“He played a full match for the reserves this week, which was good. His personality and experience will help us.

“It is not easy at his age but his enthusiasm for the game and his determination to get back — that is what gives you the most encouragement about him.

"I think he will figure in some games this season.”

On Vidic being sidelined, Ferguson added: “Of course he is a loss but I think we can cope.

“If we cannot, there is something wrong. We are very well covered in his position.”
