Jonny Evans says he is enjoying his time at Sunderland and would consider a permanent move to the Stadium of Light.

The young Manchester United defender is enjoying his second loan spell with the Black Cats and is again proving he has what it takes to play at the highest level.

Evans is enjoying regular first-team football at Sunderland, something he is far from guaranteed at United, and the player says he would be up for a permanent switch if the two clubs could agree a deal.

"I'm enjoying the challenge at Sunderland and I would definitely be interested in coming here," Evans told the Daily Star on Sunday.

"I think the manager has always said he would like me back - and it was a real compliment to have Roy Keane saying he would like to sign me permanently, especially for a big club like Sunderland.

"When the times comes, I think that will be discussed between Sunderland, United and myself. I might not have a choice. Sir Alex Ferguson might say, 'Look, Sunderland have put a bid in and you can go'".

Надо подключать Пике. Надеюсь на гладкое возвращение Сили и Невилла.
Нужно дать отдыхать не только середине.
Жаль что Руни с Тевесом прийдётся пахать за четверых. Кстати САФ не зря в последнее время частенько играет с одним Руни в нападении. Думаю это не зря, знает наш Сэр. Уэлбэк как вариант ? Наврядли..
В общем нас с вами ждём концовка сезона просто бешенная.

Кстати, я чуть не заплакал, когда прочитал что Луи должен был выйти в основе на матч с Помпи. Это ведь надо так.

Сложно нам будет с двумя нападающими. Не знаю, прав или нет был САФ узнаем в конце сезона.
Не зря он наигрывал 4-5-1 или 4-3-2-1 с единственным нападом Руни. Чувствовал наш Сэр к чему мы прийдём.

Manucho off the mark as Panathinaikos stay clear

Angola striker Manucho scored his first goal for Panathinaikos on Sunday as the league leaders beat Larissa 2-0 to keep clear at the top of the Greek Super League.
Manucho, who joined on loan from Manchester United after the Africa Nations Cup in January, opened his account when he converted a 61st minute Nikos Spyropoulos cross with a left-foot volley.
Larissa had been reduced to 10 men when Georgos Galitsios was sent off for a second yellow card just before halftime and four minutes from time Dimitris Salpigidis got his head on a floated freekick from Andreas Ivanschitz to make it 2-0.
With six matches remaining, Panathinaikos, in their centenary year, have 56 points, one ahead of Olympiakos while third-placed AEK Athens have 52.
