Ubuntu este un sistem de operare bazat pe Linux, disponibil gratuit cu suport din partea comunităţii cât şi suport profesional.

Comunitatea Ubuntu este construită pe baza ideilor expuse în Manifestul Ubuntu: acest software trebuie să fie disponibil gratuit (fără a se percepe nici o taxă), instrumentele software trebuie să fie folosite de oameni în limbile lor natale şi în ciuda oricăror invalidităţi, iar acei oameni ar trebui să aibă libertatea să adapteze şi să modifice software-ul pe care îl deţin în orice mod consideră ei că li se potriveşte mai mult.

Aceste libertăţi fac Ubuntu fundamental diferit de programele tradiţionale proprietare: nu numai că instrumentele pe care le folosiţi sunt gratuite, dar aveţi şi libertatea să modificaţi software-ul până în momentul în care funcţionează aşa cum doriţi dumneavoastră.

Pe cei incepatori ii sfatui sa aleaga intre Linux Mint su Ubuntu. aceste sunt cele mai prietenoase cu utilizatorul.

cind bifez in  setari acolo 3D Bacg.... imi apar in ambele margini parca niste umbre..pe imagine se vede..cind scot bifa..arata normal..cum sa fac sa dispara umbrele celea de pe margini dar sa fie 3d mod?

Am o problema i-am pus Ubuntu Desktop si nu are acces la Internet dar Windowsul are , puteti explica acest lucru ? Ajutati-ma

Va rog sa ma ajuta-ti cine stie, facut upgrade la 12.04, de la 11.10, si la boot am o eroare. Pe 11.10 era instalat PAE Kernel, acum cand il selectez scrie ca No partition found. Se pare ca la upgrade la sters. Cand intru de pe USB pot accesa partitia cu ubuntu. Am incercat solutiile de aici http://askubuntu.com/questions/28099/how-to-restore-a-system-after-accidentally-removing-all-kernels dar:

Mai in scurt, am reinstalat GRUB-ul, si se opreste la screen-ul violet :), mai departe nu merge

Am asa o problema cind instalez UBUNTU se opreste si scrie : No root file system is defined . Please correct this from the partitioning menu .


Ce trebuie de facut ca sa se instaleze ?
