whiteman85, wey omule, ce te bagi tu in istorie... Sheva tot era jucatorul meu preferat... dar inainte, acum e Pato care e cu mult mai bun in prezent; eu istoria Milanului o shtiu mai bine ca tine credema... dar nu vreau sa ma laud prin asta... shi nu trebuie sa iti arati capacitatile tale ca nimeni nu ti le-a cerut.

BREAKING NEWS: Manchester City Open Talks To Sign Kaka From Milan

The world's richest club have sent their chief executive to Milan to talk over the possibility of signing the former World Player of the Year...

Manchester City have begun talks with Milan to sign Kaka, according to reports.

Garry Cook, City's chief executive, was in Milan today to open discussions with the Rossoneri about the possibility of prising their superstar forward away from San Siro, according to Sky Sports News.

It is understood that at the moment, the Citizens are merely making an enquiry into the possibility of signing the man that has in the past been courted relentlessly by Real Madrid and then Chelsea.

Kaka himself has always underlined his eagerness to stay with the the Diavoli and the club have long said that they are unwilling to sell the Brazilian ace. The one question mark over his future comes due to Milan's waning financial power; the potential sale of Kaka would allow them to re-strengthen an aging squad and begin competing financially with the Premier League big boys, as well as Barcelona and Real Madrid.

La Gazzetta dello Sport speculate that City are set to offer an incredible, world record-breaking €100 million for Kaka, who relinquished his FIFA World Player of the Year title to Cristiano Ronaldo yesterday evening.

City may be hesistant to sign the the megastar in January, as he would not be eligible to play in the UEFA Cup, and for Milan to relinquish their star performer mid-season seems even less probable.

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani was said to have been told this afternoon by Cook that in addition to the transfer fee that almost doubles the current world record, Kaka would be earning €221,000 per week - over €10m per season - which would make him by far the highest paid player in world football.

This latest development bears some resemblance to City's move for Robinho on deadline day, which came just after Abu Dhabi United Group's takeover and rocked the world of football.

The once modest Eastlands club now have the financial clout to eclipse any other club in the world, and though no bid has been made yet, no statement has been released by Milan rebuffing the deal, beyond president Silvio Berlusconi's earlier statement, in which he declared he knows of no offer, but hopes that Kaka will stay at the club.

The Brazilian star's representative has said that if a deal is agreed between the clubs, his client would consider a move to Middle-Eastlands...

Manchester City do stand a chance of landing Milan ace Kaka this month, according to his representative, Diego Kotscho.

Kotscho, having already spoken to Italian press and insisting his client cares about a lot more than money, today spoke exclusively to Sky Sports News and said that a move is nevertheless not out of the question.

"We know about this meeting yesterday in Milan," he said. "For Kaka, we have to wait for the [agreement] between the two clubs. "It's not just about money. We have to see a good project and if Man City can become one of the top teams of the world - then we can negotiate to join them."

Happy In Milan

The agent, speaking from Kaka's hometown of Sao Paolo in Brazil, refuted the notion that his client has become unsettled by the arrival of fellow big names, Ronaldinho and David Beckham. "He's very happy in AC Milan," he declared. "He's happy with who he works for. It's not a problem for him to play with David or Ronaldinho and the top players in the world."

He did, however, end by saying that the Premier League has its attractions - with Kaka having said himself that the idea of playing there if things went awry with Milan - and ultimately, a deal is possible with any club if a fee is agreed with Milan.

"Of course the Premier League is one of the best leagues of the world," continued Kotscho.

"It's not impossible, but they need to have a deal with Milan."

The English press have been in a frenzy speculating that the transfer could be worth anywhere between £100-120 million and that the attacking midfielder himself could earn anywhere between £200,000-a-week (over 25% increase on his current, already highly lucrative salary) to the ridiculous realms of £500,000 per week, which would come to £26m earned per year.

Kaka Rejects Manchester City And Wants To Stay At Milan

The Brazilian superstar has ruled out a move to England's north west...

Kaka has revealed that he turned down a projected move to Manchester City that was believed to be worth £100 million.

After the playmaker's representatives refused to rule out such a move, with Kaka's agent stating that a move to City "wasn't impossible", the Brazilian himself seems to have quashed all possibility of such a move.

Kaka told website Mediaset that he wanted to stay in Serie A, claiming: "I want to grow old at AC Milan."

Such a statement is bound to disappoint all at City, who were hoping that the Brazilian superstar's capture would be a real signal of intent in this winter's transfer window.

However, the Blues are not currently playing Champions League football, and nor does that look likely for a while yet, and even the presence of fellow Brazilians such as Robinho does not adequately compensate for battling relegation this season.

Kaka's representatives have also revealed that he will not be motivated by money, which doesn't play to City's current great strength: unimaginable wealth.

Mark Hughes is certainly discovering that such wealth creates its own problems as City have struggled to add to their capture of Wayne Bridge from Chelsea last week.
