It uses television, the Internet, and live events, with additional major revenue sources from product licensing and direct product sales. Dixie Carter is the president of the company and co-founder Jeff Jarrett is the Vice President. In 2002, Panda Energy International purchased the majority of its shares. The company has its headquarters in Orlando, Florida; its trading company TNA Entertainment, LLC operates out of Nashville, Tennessee. The company previously bore the name "NWA Total Nonstop Action" — at the time of it's formation it belonged to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). TNA was granted exclusive rights to both the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Tag Team Championship. TNA withdrew from the NWA in 2004, but was permitted to continue to use the championships until the NWA abrogated the agreement in May 2007. TNA became the first American promotion to make exclusive use of a hexagonal wrestling-ring (as opposed to the more conventional four-sided ring).The organization also employed the unconventional rule that a championship can change hands as the result of a disqualification or countout, but has slowly phased out this rule. TNA's business focus is on professional wrestling. It is currently the second largest professional wrestling promotion in the world, behind World Wrestling Entertainment. Итак, в последнее время очень много разговоров и пересудов, кто же на самом деле руководит TNA. Вопреки всем слухам, президентом Компании по-пренему является Дикси Картер. Однако в последние несколько недель мать Дикси — Джэнис — серьезно взялась за контроль финансовых расходов убыточной компании. Роль Картер серьезно уменьшилась — практически до символической. Стоит даже отметить, что ей запретили вести твиттер и фэйсбук от лица руководителя промоушна. Стоит, кстати, отметить, что после того, как ее твиттер был заблокирован, Дикси не смогла пройти процедуры, необходимые для восстановления профиля. Джэнис является секретарем и Финансовым директором Panda Energy — компании, которая является владеет TNA. Вполне возможен вариант, при котором Дикси будет окончательно отстранена от руководства промоушном. В этом случае первыми кандидатами на пост Президента являются Винс РУссо и Терри Тэйлор (текущие руководитель креативного процесса и руководитель «Отдела Кадров»). Правда, учитывая, что они являются ставленниками Картер и большими ее сторонниками, вполне возможно, что место Президента проедет мимо этих двоих и окажется в руках, например, Эрика Бишоффа.
