Lille star Eden Hazard has made his intentions clear that he wants a move to Real Madrid.

The Belgium international winger has declared this will be his final season in France and is a target for Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.

However, El Confidencial says Hazard has told Lille management not to consider any offers other than what Real Madrid will table.

“I want to play for Real Madrid and I will not listen to offers from any other team,”

Borussia Dortmund attacking-midfielder Mario Gotze is happy in Germany and will not leave during the January transfer window.

Heavily linked with a possible move to Arsenal, the Germany International explained that he is happy with the Borussians and is ready to respect the contract that expires in 2014, adding that the squad is made up of “amazing players” who always want to impose their football when in action.

In September, manager Arsene Wenger was full of praise for the 19-year old when the two teams met in the Champions League, declaring that he is the most dangerous player for the Germany side as he can score goals and can produce assists for his team-mates.

Fellow Germany International Per Mertesacker was also full of praise for his compatriot when saying that he is a young player who despite his age is already very technical, is quick and has an eye for goal.

Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz has admitted that if he was to leave the current Bundesliga champions he would be interested in a move to Arsenal.

The Germany international was watched by Gunners chief scout Steve Rowley in the Signal Iduna Park side’s 1-0 win over Olympiakos in the Champions League last week, in which Grosskreutz scored the only goal.

The 23-year-old is currently in contract with Jurgen Klopp’s side until June 2014, but has admitted that a move to North London may well be of interest.

“If I do ever leave Dortmund, I would like to go to the Premier League in England, and my favourite club there is Arsenal,” he is reported as saying in The Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is not a fan of mid-season international friendlies, and hopes his players can avoid injury whilst competing for their countries.

“It is certainly not a joy for me but hopefully it is not a pain because I hope the players will come back in good spirits,” he told the North London side’s official website.

“But it could be a pain if we lose some players through injury.

“I don’t believe it will upset our rhythm. It’s always a challenge to get the focus back quickly when players come from international games but let’s hope we can sort that out,” he concluded.

Arsenal striker Ju Young Park was delighted after scoring his first goal for the Gunners in the Carling Cup and is determined to add more goals, this season.

Speaking to Arsenal Player after the win over Bolton Wanderers, the South Korea International declared that he was very happy after finding the back of the net in his second game as an Arsenal player joking how his first impression after he hit the shot was that his effort was going to miss the target.

Asked about how important it was for him to impress in front of the Arsenal fans, the 26-year old confessed that the only way for a striker to do well and impress if of course to score as many goals as possible with Park revealing that manager Arsene Wenger was also happy with the outcome at the end of the game.

And on the game against Manchester City, on November 29, the striker concluded by saying that the Gunners are in a position to win the trophy and can battle their way past the Sky Blues as they will play in front of the local fans, a big advantage in knock-out competitions.

On his first goal and the Carling Cup, the 26-year old said:

[How do I feel after scoring my first goal for the Club last week?] First of all I was very happy, especially as it was only the second game since I arrived.

I was very happy. I think the older players helped me a lot and that’s why I could score.

The first thing is that when I scored, all the players came to me and congratulated me.

The fans cheered for me as well and that made me so happy. At first I thought I had missed the net! But the ball went in and for that I was very happy. It was a great feeling to score.

I try to move around and make runs and score goals. I think that’s the most important thing. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has stated that in terms of his development he is still a “work in progress”, but has also declared himself happy with his performances in an Arsenal shirt thus far.

The 18-year old, who has been touted the new Theo Walcott, has showed encouraging signs during his first three months at the Emirates: securing the title of the youngest ever English scorer in the Champions League being a particular highlight.

Arsenal paid Southampton £12 million for the winger in the summer and, whilst talking to Arsenal’s official website, the youngster admitted that he still has a lot more to offer as he is still at such a tender age.

"I think there's a lot more to come from me so I am just going to keep working hard, keep learning in training and get some more appearances to do well," he told Arsenal Player.

"It's down to me at the end of the day, I've got to put pressure on the boss to select me. I can only do that by training well and, when I do get my chance, impress him. The boss has said it's up to me, he's going to work with me the same way I have to with him.

"It's a work in progress and I don't think there's any need to rush into things. I trust the boss and he's going to develop me in the same way.

"I knew that when I signed here it would be hard for me," added Oxlade-Chamberlain. "I was playing more week-in week-out at Southampton and I knew that maybe in my first season I wouldn't get a lot of game time.

"But I'm learning so much in training from the likes of Robin van Persie and the rest of the boys - and the manager as well. I've only had a few appearances but I've scored two goals and I'm happy with with that."

Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has heaped praise on the clubs Ivorian summer signing Gervinho for what has been a seamless transition following his move from Lille.

Gervinho helped guide Lille to the Ligue 1 title last season and Song, who played for Bastia in France until his move to the Gunners in 2005, was impressed by what he saw.

Song knew that the physical nature of the Premier League would pose a much stiffer test than the French Ligue1 but believes the Ivory Coast international has performed well.

Despite an unfortunate start to his Arsenal career when he was red carded following a clash with the then Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton, Gervinho has since established himself as a regular starter in Arsene Wenger’s side and Song believes he can only become more confident, both on and off the pitch.

“I watch a lot of the French league at home so I knew when Gervinho arrived that he was a very good player,” Song told Arsenal’s Official Matchday Programme.

“I’m not surprised to see him doing well here and I think there’s more to come. It’s not easy to come to the English league, it’s harder and stronger, but he’s getting used to it and I’m really happy to see him making a difference in games.

“Gervinho is a very quiet guy, not one who talks too much, but I think it’s normal that you look and listen when you arrive somewhere before saying a lot.

“I think he’s now coming out of himself and you can see it on the pitch too.”

Gunners young defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin is reportedly considering walking out on Arsenal due to the “annoying” lack of first-team opportunities.

The France Under-21 international has been close to first team action for Arsenal since he joined from Stade Lavallois in 2008 and impressed when he spent the whole of last season on loan in Ligue 1 with Lorient, where he played in 24 league games.

But the 20-year-old has only started twice in the Premier League, however has been a Carling Cup regular. Coquelin only got the opportunity to play due to Song and Frimpong’s suspension, however is rated highly by Wenger and is unfortunate not to get more game time.

Coquelin told France Football:

I thought I had a shot to play so I decided to stay at Arsenal. I played a lot at first, even big games, but when players came back from injury I just disappeared.

It is often said that when you are young you have time but I played a whole season at Lorient and now I’m virtually not playing at all. It’s annoying. Given my playing time for sure the idea of a departure this winter is in my head.
