I’m an optimist but this season again, as last 5 seasons is out of reach… so ‘Lets start building for the next season’!!!

No need to replace AW! We just need 3 – 4 Experienced (I will be emphasizing this term too much) top-players. Board need to discuss the matter with AW that “…look just one transfer window will be enough to change the fortunes of AFC, like liverpool did, then from the next year you can again apply your philosophies to this club”.

Bringing in ‘Top players’ in your team doesn’t necessarily means that the young players do not develop. Just go ahead and buy some players who are experienced and have a proven track record. A goalie, 2 BIG CBs and an exceptional finisher would do. And get rid of players for whom fans, board and dressing room feels negative about.

Its not a shame if we lose Fabregas to Barca, like it was never a shame for LFC to lose Torres. But there is no point if we replace Fabregas by Jack, and buy more teenagers who cannot play in EPL for next 2 – 3 years. Rather we should target those players who can directly make a way in starting eleven. Fabregas is the face of AFC, and no offense for Jack, but he’s just 19 and we need players who can be motivators to the young squad we have.

Problem with AFC currently is lack of experienced leaders. So instead of changing our manager, having glorious track record, we(fans, board and players) should make him realize that whatever he has done to make our youth system is right but to win any trophies you need inspirational and experienced players in our team. I have read so many suggestions for new signings Hazard, Neymar, Ganso, Yann, and so many other young and upcoming talent. But wait a second ask yourselves, DO WE NEED ANY MORE YOUNG PLAYERS?

No we do not! We need Experience (okay, I am using this word the last time). We need players against whom the oppositions would make plans before every kick off. And around those players we need to put up our young players. So according to me, replacing AW is no answer to our trophy drought, rather get Samba or Mertesecker or Cahill in defense; some one like Falcao who always engages at least two oppositional defenders.

And A MUST is a Goalie. I am not saying AW should sacked nor I am supporting his decisions to sell all the pillars of AFC for making money but for once… just once he has to change his policies and unload the cash from our ‘PROFIT MAKING BOARD’

These, the exact words I uttered out following what is now proving to be a more disastrous Carling Cup Final shocker than initially thought even then!

I mean what else can we say? We feared it, and we saw it coming, that, despite words and promises to the contrary: by the bank manager (I mean chief executive), by Arsène Wenger, and by the various players whose mouths (or fingers if they are the tweeting type) are obviously bigger than their feet.

In truth, we never really believed them, although we desperately wanted to. And by the looks of it, they clearly don't believe it themselves. With three points out of a very winnable nine we find ourselves out of the title race before the run-in has even begun! A title race that Manchester United have shown they are capable of taking by the scruff of the neck, even through the pettiest and most functional of performances, and one that we are just too soft to rise to.

Sir Alex Ferguson and his men threw down the gauntlet at Arsène Wenger and his boys with a most imperious comeback at Upton Park yesterday lunchtime, at a ground where they habitually struggle. Two down at half-time and with a slightly patched up side due to continental and cup commitments in mind, Wayne Rooney and co posed us a most spectacular question as their afternoon ended so handsomely. It still could have been a good day for Arsenal; against a Blackburn side winless in seven (and having taken a good few whackings along the way), and with United bound to tire at some point (especially having shown some shakiness at the back), victory would have been the perfect answer: to United, to the dubious critics, and most importantly, to ourselves.

They failed to answer. They did not answer.

It turns out Arsène Wenger's talk of mental strength and character is a hollow fib of nothingness after all.

Those players played like they were up for it, and up for the win, what should be an easy win considering the remainder of the so-called "title run-in", for a grand total of ten minutes. Samir Nasri bashed his nut into Ryan Nelsen, and with that, down went the levels of belief and the charisma to go with a team supposedly fighting for the league title. There was time for a late arousal following Steven N'Zonzi's early shower for the visitors. But it was, once again, too little, too late.

I am not here to talk about the football right now, for that will be myth number 2 later on in the week (watch out for that one).

What vexes me is that these current players that represent Arsenal are not young, are not naïve, and are not physically weak, not any longer. The time for all that is well and truly up, so we are told. They claim to have taken the criticism on board. They claim to have learnt. No.

If Manchester United can rouse themselves up from the dead with games in Europe and in cups coming thick and fast, then it is criminal to see those who don the Arsenal shirt fail in such a docile manner, having had two weeks off to clear their heads and with literally no other commitments or distractions to behold!

You don't often hear Ferguson harking on about his side's mental strength, and yet they show it time and again when it matters most. Strength embodied on the pitch in none other than their skipper Nemanja Vidic, a man who possesses more character and grit in his little toe than in whole minds and bodies of some of the lame ducks at Wenger's disposal (and of his own choosing and fine nurturing).

This is not about the title, by the way, after all it does seem that there never was one for us in the first place, despite the lies and the false dawns. It is simply about looking out there as I cheer (and tire), paining myself to find that one person out on the grass, just the one, who is anything on Vidic, on Giggs, on Rooney, to get us out of this insidious rot.

I find no one. And yet Arsène Wenger goes on and on and on about it.

I guess they're right in saying that talk is cheap.
