Golul trei marcat de Barcelona in meciul cu Cultural Leonesa (realizator Pedro) a fost cel cu numarul 200 pentru FC Barcelona in competitiile oficiale de cand conducerea tehnica a echipei a fost preluata de Josep Guardiola.

Primul gol din “era Guardiola” a fost marcat pe Camp Nou pe 13 august 20008 contra Wislei Cracovia in turul trei preliminar al Ligii Campionilor 2008-2009. De atunci formatia catalana a mai punctat de alte 201 ori in 81 de partide, avand o medie de 2,5 goluri pe meci. 158 dintre aceste goluri au fost marcate sezonul trecut, iar in actuala stagiune s-au marcat deja 44 de goluri.

Cel mai bun marcator al ultimilor doi ani este Leo Messi, care a marcat de 49 de ori. Il urmeaza Samuel Eto’o (36), Thierry Henry (27), Bojan Krkic (14), Keita (12), Pedro (9) si Ibrahimovic (8).

Dintre cele 202 goluri, 133 au fost marcate in campionat, 39 in Champions League, 24 in Copa del Rey, 5 in Supercupa Spaniei si 1 in Supercupa Europei. 118 din totalul de 202 au fost marcate pe Camp Nou, cu o medie de peste 3 goluri pe meci in fata propriilor suporteri!

Dintre cele 81 de meciuri disputate de Barcelona in “era Guardiola”, 56 au fost victorii, 17 remize si 8 infrangeri.

Rubin Kazan captain Sergey Semak will not forget his side's spectacular 2-1 Champions League win against Barcelona after the midfielder decided to name his daughter after the Spanish club.

The 33-year-old gave his newly born daughter the name 'Barcelona' to honour his side's surprising performance against the Champions League titleholders.

"This is a nice way to make sure I never forget that memorable win. Additionally, it's a bit of a tribute to the beautiful football they play," Semak was quoted as saying by Sowjetski Sport.

It's not uncommon in Russia to name a child after a famous person or an important event. Barcelona is Semak's fourth child with his current wife. Their other three kids are named Maja, Semjon and Iwan.

Barcelona will not hold any meetings with Manchester City officials in the Middle East this week amid rumours an approach for Robinho was being set up, Txiki Begiristain has confirmed.

The Blaugrana's technical secretary dismissed reports that a trip to watch the Citizens appear in Abu Dhabi could see an offer being made for the Brazilian, as many reports have suggested.

Instead, Begiristain explained, a Barcelona delegation would be present by invitation of the United Arab Emirates hosts at the game to inaugurate the Zayek Stadium.

“We won’t be meeting with City," the director was quoted as saying by Barcelona's official club website.
"We’re respectful and it hasn’t been decided who should come, not even if anyone has to come and who it should be.
"There’s a prior stage missing which is a meeting between [coach Pep] Guardiola and me. Once the decision has been taken we will follow the strategy for any signing.
